SEGGER makes J-Link USB Protocol Specification available to the open source community

SEGGER Microcontroller, a leading manufacturer of middleware, debug probes and flash programming solutions for embedded systems, today announced that the J-Link USB protocol specification is available to the open source community.

"Making the protocol available to open source developers is an important step in showing support for the open source community. We would like to give end-users a choice between using our software with such high-end features as Flash breakpoints and using open source software such as OpenOCD.", says Rolf Segger, CEO at SEGGER.
