SEGGER's Waste Return Policy
With regard to the German regulations of the ElektroG, based on the EU Directive 2002/96/EC of the European Parliament and the EU Council on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and the revised EU Directive 2012/19/EU, there is an obligation for SEGGER Microcontroller GmbH to offer its B2B customers according to section § 7a ElektroG a recycling process in addition to its trade-in program when they become waste.
According to the ElektroG we hereby provide for our hardware products used commercially or in public institutions - so-called B2B products - a return method so that SEGGER Microcontroller GmbH can pass along the collected waste to its local recycling partners. Except for the shipment costs for returning the waste SEGGER Microcontroller GmbH will pay for all associated costs of the recycling and disposal services imposed by the return of the waste.
Below you find a fill-in form to request an authorized return of your waste. An email will then be generated with shipment instructions for returning the waste. If your adapter does not have a S/N, please attach a proof of purchase.
We explicitly inform you that according to § 19a ElektroG you are responsible to delete any personal data on the electrical equipment considered for disposal.
The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin on electrical equipment indicates that it must be collected separately and means that it must not be disposed of with household waste.
